Drifters Reef, Wake Island, and a Thai mindset

Summary

From my time on Wake Island in 2005 through 2007, I had to find a new way to live and survive in an environment to which I was not accustomed.

From the “smooth coffee” that Papa would give me to take the edge off (coffee with Kahlua) to handing out pennies for a safe mindset and sweeping a hallway at 5 am, there are small things and perspectives we can perform, to improve the piece of the world we live in.
